Masterful James front man Tim Booth writes at his very best in this excellent collaboration with Angelo Badalamenti and ex-Suede star Bernard Butler. Highlights include the upbeat "Heart", the strongly emotive "Rising" and the utterly brilliant "Stranger". Also Booth's conveyance of the universal truth in "Butterfly Dreams" : "Pledge true love, tenderly hold her - all the time looking over her shoulder" The entire album is sheer class.
This has the haunting, smooth tunes one would expect from Badalamenti, and the great voice from Booth. They are a great team. This is a must for any James fan.
